After being presented with an Australian Defence Medal by Sophie Mirabella (MHR, Indi).

Major Peter Buckley was a guest speaker at the function held at Wangaratta’s RSL Club,

and said the medal was an important honor for those whose achievements while in service had previously gone unrecognised.
